The Norwegian economy is strongly affiliated with the oil and gas industry, and faces considerable adaptability and readjustment challenges.
On November 1st, Abelia will visit BTO to present the results of Omstillingsbarometeret 2016. Omstillingsbarometeret is an investigation of adaptability in the Norwegian economy which focuses on four core areas; human capital, entrepreneurship, innovation and science, and digitalization. Despite good results in many areas, the report shows that the level of adaptability as a whole is not sufficient. The question for us becomes:
What measures need to be taken in order to improve Norwegian adaptability, and what can the Hordaland region contribute in this manner?
To discuss this, we welcome regional manager Tom Knudsen from NHO, director of innovation and renewal in Abelia Christine Korme, and head of Goontech Bjarte Sebastian Hansen.
