VIS is owned by the University of Bergen, Haukeland University Hospital, Institute of Marine Research, Siva, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and NHH Norwegian Business School. In addition, we have eight partners: Christian Michelsen Research 7 NORCE, Uni Research / NORCE, Haraldsplass Diakonale Hospital, Helse Fonna, Sogn og Fjordane Knowledge Park, Nofima and Sjukehusapoteka Vest.
Together, the institutions have 4000 research of full-time equivalents and a research base of 5 billion NOK. Researchers, scientific staff and students from these institutions give VIS over 100 innovative ideas each year – from a wide range of exciting subject areas.
