Nicke Svanvik has been hired as the new CEO at Holberg EEG. Svanvik has a PhD in molecular biotechnology and has management experience from GE Healthcare in Sweden, England and USA. Further he has business development skill sets from several early phase and medium sized companies in the Life Sciences/Medical Device sectors.
Harald Aurlien, founder and CEO in the company since its start in 2009, will continue to work in Holberg EEG as Chief Medical Officer.
Holberg EEG has also brought in Øyvind Guldbrandsen. He is filling the role as VP Sales/Marketing for Holberg SCORE EEG. Gulbrandsen has previously worked for Alere and Nordic Neurolab in Bergen. Guldbrandsen has been educated as a radiographer, and has additional training in sales and psychology.
Christer Hantveit has joined the team as a software developer. Hantveit has a computer engineering degree from the Høgskolen i Bergen, as well as being educated as an IT project leader. He joins Holberg EEG after working as a senior developer at Sharecat Solutions.
Holberg SCORE EEG has several hospitals in the Nordic countries as clients and the system is being implemented in the Netherlands and the UK. Aksel Mjøs, Chairman of the Board, has big expectations for 2016, and is pleased with hiring three key staff members to help with the development:
