All 13 participants, representing 9 FP7 projects and 4 start-ups from health and life science, rated the workshop as relevant to their expectations and declared their willingness to participate in future initiatives organized by the UTILE project.

UTILE project–the marketplace for the health sector

UTILE is developing an online tool to valorize FP7 Health and Horizon2020 SC1 project results. The online community will be the place where Innovation Providers (such as research centres, universities and research groups) and Innovation Developers (such as big pharmaceutical and biotech companies) can meet each other and increase their innovation potential. The Marketplace provides services and tool boxes to improve the valorisation potential of health research projects and offer matchmaking opportunities with the industry and investors who are therefore able to find promising research ideas, ready to commercialize
