Keiji Fukuda, Special Representative for Antimicrobial Resistance in WHO, is among the international key speakers. Dr Fukuda has helped shape the global approach to pandemic preparedness, managed the response to the influenza H1N1 pandemic, strengthened surveillance, and played an instrumental role in facilitating inter-governmental discussions over the sharing of influenza viruses and related benefits. At the NRI-Conference he will speak about the 2016 knowledge of antibiotics, and perspectives ahead.
Bent Høie, The Norwegian Minister of Health and Care, will greet the delegates on the opening day of the conference.
Anders Haugland, Managing director of Bergen Teknologioverføring, is also among the speakers at this year’s conference and will speak about the role and value of the Technology Transfer System.
