Legal Professional
We are looking for a legal professional with understanding for, insight of and experience from patenting processes. You must have a master in law or similar, and at least five years of relevant work experience.

We are looking for a flexible project manager with higher education in marketing, finance or law, and interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. You should be a team player, and enjoy a dynamic environment with a high pace during the workday.

We are looking for a business developer who will work with marine projects; aquaculture, fishery, seafood and biotechnology. You must have higher education, and 5 – 8 years of experience in a relevant industry.

Business Developer, User-driven innovations
We are looking for a business developer who will work with user-driven innovation. You must have higher education, and at least 3 – 5 years of work experience, preferably from the health sector and/or as a project manager. Experience from business/industry, user-driven innovation and good financial understanding is an advantage.

About BTO
Bergen Teknologioverføring’s (BTO) objective is to help bringing research with innovative potential to the market, so that it can benefit the society. BTO is owned by the University of Bergen, Bergen University Hospital, the Institute of Marine Research, Bergen University College and SIVA. In addition, we have agreements with most research institutions in the Bergen area. These institutions represent around 4000 research FTEs. Since the establishment of BTO in 2004, we have assisted with the start-up of 50 companies, and signed more than 100 agreements of commercial application. BTO is also responsible for facilitating around 45 startup companies through Nyskapingsparken Incubator. In addition, BTO recently took over the responsibility for managing clinical trials for Haukeland University Hospital and the University of Bergen.
