Research and innovation in the specialized health services

The four regional health authorities recently presented a collaborative research and innovation report from 2013 from the field of special health services. The report illustrates the use of research and innovation through new solutions by presenting a number of stories related to research and innovation. The selected stories include two projects where BTO is involved together with Haukeland University Hospital. The report also includes key numbers related to publications and commercialized ideas.

The key numbers in the report shows the significance of the TTOs in Norway. Over 150 research-based ideas were registered in 2013 from the specialized health services, and in the same year just under 80 ideas were in the process of being conceptualized. Five new businesses were established and just over 20 licence agreements were signed.
